circuit, so no special wiring is required
and there's no need to hire an expensive
electrician.
Use it outdoors...

Eclipse
Frequently Asked Question |
How difficult is
it to install?
Because the Eclipse spas are
completely self-contained, they are
quick and easy to install. All
that's required is a flat, level
surface that can handle the weight
of the spa with water, a standard 15
amp electrical hook-up and a garden
hose to fill it up. In just a few
hours, you can be enjoying the warm,
swirling water of you own Eclipse
spa.
Can a Eclipse spa really help
relieve the pain from arthritis?
Yes. In fact, the National Arthritis
Foundation recommends a daily
regimen of spa use to help improve
flexibility, range of motion and too
ease pain. A spa is also great to
help untangle tense muscles and
relieve everyday aches and pains.
How much will my Eclipse spa cost
to operate?
A lot of different factors affect
the cost of operation of your
Eclipse spa. Things like your
specific region of the country, the
cost of electricity in your
community, how often you use your
spa and where is your spa sitting.
However, your new Eclipse spa is one
of the most energy efficient spas on
the market.
Do I need special plumbing for my
spa?
No! That's one of the great things
about our X-Calibur spas. Because
the spa has a built in heating and
filtration system, you leave the
water in. Simply fill the spa with a
garden hose.
Should I put my Eclipse spa
inside or out?
It's up to you. Your new spa fits
through a standard door, so getting
them inside isn't a problem, but
they are so well insulated that
using them outside makes a lot of
sense. When you use a spa inside,
you sacrifice size and depth, but
that might be worth it if you want
to prevent the elements from getting
to your spa. On the other hand, a
lot of people enjoy relaxing under
the stars and savor soaking in the
warm, swirling waters of their spa
during even the coldest days. Inside
or out, the choice is up to you.
Do you
recommend a Ozonator be installed?
No, a ozonator it is not necessary
on this model. It is such a small
body of water, that an ozonater just
isn't practical. Also, ozonaters
actually counter act some water
treatment chemicals - so in essence
it may be doing disservice.
What about
parts and service for my Eclipse
spa?
Parts are factory stocked and
technical help is offered through a
"800" phone number supplied with
purchase. Repairs of these spas are
designed so that service is
extremely easy, remove the bad part
and install the new one, another
great feature and advantage of Dream
Maker Spas. |

What
is Hot Stick Technology?
|
|
Hot stick heats the
water through friction. It is
basically physics. Water is passing
through the hot stick at a high rate
of speed. It is forcing this "fast"
water through small sections. Buy
doing this, it is forcing the water
molecules to collide with one
another, which creates friction,
kinetic energy and heat. Once the
water passes through these "hot
valves" the water meets in an open
chamber where a vortex is created.
This vortex causes the water to
rotate in this chamber at a very
high rate of speed. This swirling,
whirlpool action is again creating
kinetic energy, friction and heat.
We heat the water at 1.9 degrees per
hour.
The best way to
describe it is to put your hands
together, rub them back and forth.
See how they get hot? Why? Because
of friction!
The best part is
that these spas do not have the
normal problems that your typical
heating elements bring. You can ask
any dealer what the first part on
the spa is that breaks. It's the
heating element because the
chemicals and water corrode the
coil, and it breaks. There is
nothing to break on our heating
system. Also, because we are using
this energy efficient system, your
electricity bill will be lower than
any other spa on the market. |
