1) If my Spa2Go tears, can it be repaired?
a. Yes, the Spa2Go comes with a repair kit, similar to that of a bicycle tire. It can be repaired very easily.
2) Can you ship the Spa2Go internationally?
a. No, we cannot ship the Spa2Go internationally at this time. We can ship in the lower 48 United States (shipping is included), and Alaska & Hawaii (with an additional shipping charge). We are also able to ship to Guam and US territories, for an additional charge.
3) What do you sit on? Are there seats?
a. There are NO seats in the Spa2Go. You simply sit on the cushioned bottom of the Spa2Go floor.
4) What is the warranty?
a. 12 months parts/90 days labor. The full warranty can be seen here: Spa2Go Warranty.
5) Is there an extended warranty available?
a. There is no extended warranty for the Spa2Go.
6) What is the diameter of the Spa2Go?
a. The Spa2Go is 6' in diameter.
7) Are there any smaller or larger size Spa2Gos?
a. No, the 6' version the only size that is manufactured.
8) How does the Spa2Go heat?
a. The water is heated as the water circulates through the pump. There is nothing additional needed to heat the water.
9) How long does it take to heat?
a. Anywhere between 24 and 48 hours, depending on the ambient air temperature. The Spa2Go will heat about 2 degrees per hour. Because you will probably fill it with a garden hose, you are putting cold water into the tub. Therefore, we recommend that you fill it, put the lid on, turn it up to 104 and turn it on. Leave it alone for at least 24 hours, while it heats. BE PATIENT! It will get hot, it just takes a while!
10) How hot does it get?
a. You can heat your Spa2Go to a maximum of 104 degrees.
11) How long does it take to fill?
a. About 1 hour with a normal garden hose.
12) How many jets are there in the Spa2Go?
a. There is one main jet, near where the pump is attached. The Spa2Go also uses the "Turbo Wave" ring, which has 127 microjets at the bottom of the spa. The Turbo Wave helps aerate and circulate the water.
13) Do you have a distributor in my city/state/country?
a. Probably not. We are located in central Illinois, and we ship all over the country. We do not, however, have dealers.
14) I live in a very cold region of the U.S. Can I still use the Spa2Go outside?
a. Yes. The Spa2Go can withstand almost any climate, even very cold and snowy weather. However, if your Spa2Go sits outside in cold weather, you can expect your pump to run more (as it will keep the water hot), so your power bill might rise slightly in those months.
15) How much does it cost to run a Spa2Go?
a. Depending on your climate and your cost per kilowatt hour, you can expect to pay $5-$8 per month to run your Spa2Go.
16) What about chemicals? Can I use any chemicals? Where do I get chemicals?
a. Almost any spa chemical will work in the Spa2Go. Chlorine and Bromine based chemicals are the most common. The manufacturer recommends against using BaquaSpa chemicals, as there have been reports of the BaquaSpa chemicals interacting negatively with the seals in the Spa2Go. We recommend the Easycare line of chemicals, as they are specially formulated for vinyl spas. We include a start up kit of Easycare chemicals with new Spa2Go purchases, and additional chemicals can be purchased from our website.
17) What kind of ground preparation is required?
a. If you are placing the Spa2Go outside, you will want to remove the grass and level the area.
18) Can I put it on a deck?
a. Yes.
19) Can I put it inside my garage/attic/basement/etc?
a. Yes. The beauty of the Spa2Go is that it is amazingly portable. You can put it wherever you want, as long as you have electricity, and water.
20) What about humidity indoors?
a. Because they do produce steam, there could be humidity issues. However, unless your basement is very confined, it shouldn't be a problem. We have MANY customers who use these in their basements with no problem. If your basement is confined or very small, you may want to add a fan to circulate the air a little.
21) Can I use it outside in the summer and inside in the winter?
a. Yes! Because it is super portable, you can move it wherever you want, as often as you want.
22) How long will the pump/motor last? Can it be replaced?
a. You can expect the power pack to last 8-10 years. If one does fail, and it is no longer under warranty, it can be replaced for about $500.00.
23) Does the pump run all the time?
a. No, the pump will run long enough to heat the water to the desired temperature, and then it will shut off. Then it will kick on again when the water cools.
24) How often do I have to dump the water?
a. Every 6-12 months or whatever makes you comfortable. Most people don't want to go longer than a year with the same water, just because of oils and buildup that will occur naturally.
25) Is the Spa2Go available in any color other than blue?
a. No.
